Energy Data Analytics
You have made the sizable investment by installing in an Energy Management System but utilities costs and complaints are still persistent. Your facility folks are flat out and don’t have the time to address all the outstanding needs. We have developed a low cost system to identify, monitor and track BMS performance helping focus key resources on the critical needs.
Electrical devices are being designed with energy efficiency in mind reducing power requirements. Energy efficiency will be a major part of the solution to reduce global greenhouse emissions. Companies are looking for solutions to reduce energy costs.
You can't reduce energy costs without knowing exacty where, when and how you are consuming electricity today. We can help you develop a strategy to reduce the overall operating costs of your facility while making your company far more green than it currently is. It's a win/win. These are just a few examples of the types of data our AMI systems can deliver. Click the images to see a larger version.
Big data and analytics have been buzzwords for quite some time now. Within the utility space, Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) has opened up new opportunities to collect and use energy usage data. In the past, most utilities only collected usage information based on the type of meter and the reading schedule. Different meter types collected different amounts of information. Larger customers would have energy usage (kWh) and demand (kW) in various intervals (monthly, hourly, every 30 min…). For all customers, the reading schedule was usually monthly and was performed manually by a meter reader.
Schneider Electric's EcoStruxure™ Advanced Metering Operation (formerly known as Titanium Advanced Meter Infrastructure) platform puts Schneider Electric's information management services expertise to work to not only achieve effective AMI deployment but also maximize subsequent smart metering returns. It’s an innovative, and award winning, solution that makes large-scale AMI rollout and its continuing benefits — lower operational costs, improved end-customer services and smarter, sustainable energy — a reality for any utility.
